Each Backflow Assembly Prevention Tester applicant must submit the following items:
1) Completed application (all requested information)
2) Exam payment ($180 Members, $200 Non-Members)
3) A completed application which includes all requested information, and proof of qualifications, per Section 10 of the Rules
4) Send all the above to the Section Office no later than 20 days prior to the examination. For students enrolling in the 40 hour Backflow Course, you will have up to Monday at 9:00am on the first day of class to submit the application. Mail: 10435 Ashford St., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730

ATTENTION all Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester candidates and certificants:
The CA-NV AWWA Governing Board approved a change to the Rules Governing on Thursday, December 14, 2023.
The text of the approved change will be posted here on the Section website for 60 calendar days starting Thursday, December 28, 2023.
The posted rules will include the change and be effective as of Monday, February 26, 2018.
Approve revision of the Rules Governing the Certification of Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester rule 2.4, to increase the time frame for mailing the certificate from 30 working days to 75 calendar days.
